In 1992 Tony Goddard organised a tournament in Belfast, which he won. You can find this described on rec.games.go
More recently we have had tournaments in 2007, which was attended by Catalin Taranu 5 dan professional. This was held in the Crescent Arts Centre and was a 4 round rapid
In 2008 we expanded to a weekend event and moved to the Belfast Boat Club.
2009 was another weekend event, but slightly more laid back, it was also in Belfast Boat Club.
In 2010 we completely changed location, and moved to the restaurant upstairs in the, err, Boat Club.
